To enrich our Design & Technology curriculum, all pupils are invited to join our lunchtime Little Inventors Club during the Spring term. This creative club gives children the chance to imagine, plan and build inventive solutions to real-world problems they have noticed themselves or that others may face. Pupils will use their creativity, problem-solving and design skills to develop inventions that are practical, weirdly wonderful, or delightfully bonkers!
It’s a fantastic opportunity for pupils to think like designers, experiment with ideas and let their imaginations run wild.

We are delighted to receive a notification from the Little Inventors team that 7 of our invention planning sheet entries have been selected to go on their website. Each of them received individual feedback.
Have a look at our designs on the Little Inventors website: https://www.littleinventors.org/ideas/
Lots of our inventors have been making models of one or more of their invention ideas over the past couple of weeks. It is a hive of activity on a Thursday lunchtime with all the planning and making!

For the past three weeks, our inventors have been coming up with brilliant designs to solve a range of problems. Have a look! They have all been uploaded to the Little Inventors website, so we will keep our eyes out to see if any are selected for their ideas page.

Today was our first lunchtime club meet-up.
We got straight to it! 35 children came and created wonderfully imaginative, useful and fun inventions.
Some had their own ideas to solve problems they had stumbled upon, and others borrowed a mini challenge card with an idea prompt to get going.
It was a very successful, productive and inspiring first session.
