Alongside our maths curriculum, we are keen to offer opportunities that allow our pupils to develop a love of all areas of maths. 

Wells Cathedral School Primary Maths Festival

On Wednesday 5th November, 4 members of Buzzard class had a fantastic time at a maths festival held at Wells Cathedral School! They designed a creative poster all about fractions, teamed up to tackle tricky problem-solving questions, and raced through a thrilling maths question relay.

Robin class designed number tracks to play race games with their Buzzard class buddies. Robin class had been playing a range of track games in the lead up to designing their own. They decided if they wanted a count down or race to a greater number before they added a decorative theme.
