Safer Internet Day 2026

This year's Safer Internet Day took place on Tuesday 10th February. Buzzard Class took part in the BBC live lesson https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/live-lessons/articles/zcbhdnb?scrlybrkr=70e132ad#zx9vmbk and the whole school had an assembly based around the theme ‘Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI’.

We watched Search It Up - You’re Not Laughing Cat! - YouTube and discussed chat messages.

Autumn term online safety assembly.

We had our first whole school assembly on Thursday 25th September. The focus was on: before I use a device, I talk to a trusted adult about how I will keep myself safe, and I tell a trusted adult when something worrying or unexpected happens when I am using a device.
