Summer term has been filled with swimming, weaving, design, research, data recording, KS2 production and writing. Phew!
In English we have been engrossed in What a waste! This lead us on to writing our own book, we had to research on our chosen topic, then used Publisher to create our own pages.
We linked this to our maths work on statistics and looked into how many items of clothes we had at home. In Geography we have been looking at rivers, we have used our atlas' to plot where rivers go and worked out the different areas of the water cycle and what happens at different points on a river's journey.
We have been very musical this term, enjoying a music assembly with Rose Aspery, Key Stage 2 were super in our production Whiz Wham Alakazam, and we wowed the school with our end of year strings concert.
Art has been a textural experience, we made God's Eyes to give as Father's Day presents, and spent a very hot afternoon weaving calmly. We finished the year with extra swimming, a celebration as we move on into a new class and teacher in September.
